ASHRAE Toronto's 2026

Earth Day Trash Hike

ASHRAE Toronto Chapter is pleased to invite you to our sustainability chapter trash hike and social!

Make amazing memories walking alongside your peers through the trails of the Old Mill and Humber River area, while also contributing to keeping your local park clean. Enjoy the spring weather after a cold winter, and maybe even find some hidden treasure (no guarantees).

If you are considering becoming an ASHRAE Toronto member, this is an excellent opportunity to socialize with the Toronto Chapter volunteers and existing membership.

Slots are limited. Reserve your spot before it's too late!

Ticket prices cover limited supplies to be provided (trash bags, hooks to hold bags, gloves), and coverage of some appetizers at the social.

Where to Meet: Old Mill Subway Station at 5:30 - 6:00 PM. Orientation and Departure for the hike at 6:00 PM.

Parking: Old Mill Public Parking Lot (map), Royal York Subway Station (map), or Islington Subway Station (map).

Those attending the after hours social at The Bull Pub & Grill (map) should consider parking at one of the stations.

The Hike is expected to last ~1 hour, ending around 7:30 PM. We will then walk over to the pub for some food, drinks, and great company.

Please ensure you bring water, have appropriate walking shoes for the hike, and dress for the weather conditions.
