With over 145 billion litres of North American wastewater being generated daily there is a substantially under tapped, low-cost, renewable energy source just waiting to be taken advantage of. Join us for an informative session on wastewater energy recovery and its applications within the HVAC industry. This presentation will delve into the technology behind capturing thermal energy from wastewater streams and repurposing it for heating and cooling systems while also covering a detailed project over for the wastewater energy transfer system being installed at Toronto Western Hospital (part of University Health Network) offering practical insights into its application in a real-world setting.
